On September 9, 2017 Daniel David Diaz went home to be with our Lord and reunited with his wife, Tracy Diaz, who passed away earlier this year on January 28, 2017. He passed peacefully in his home in Snowflake, Arizona of natural causes at 63 years of age.Daniel was a lively man, full of jokes, laughter & music. He could often be seen doing the two step & saying "Hit me!" to many varieties of Funk music, including his favorite artist, Mr. James Brown. He was a tall tale teller, a hard worker, a mentor and was loved by many.He was a native of Fresno & lived in Madera, CA for much of his life until he relocated to Snowflake in 2002. David spent some time in the Air Fore in 1973. He was an electrician by trade and later worked for the Dept. of Corrections in Winslow, AZ., where he touched many souls' hearts and made lasting friendships. He was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. He will be truly missed."David" as he preferred to be called, leaves behind his five daughters; Aurora Rodriguez, Brittney Escalera, Mia Diaz, Gianna Diaz & Christeanna "Cricket" Diaz; as well as his step-sons, Austin, Ryan and Dylan Greco. He and his wife Tracy shared eight grandchildren; Adriel Rodriguez, Trinity Colunga, Shylah Rodriguez, Michael Colunga, Yaslin Rodriguez, Maddy Greco, Ashley Greco & Rally Greco. David is also survived by his brother Andy Diaz and nieces Audrey & Lydia Diaz, as well as countless cousins, family members and friends.David is preceded in death by his wife, Tracy Sue Diaz and mother and father, Mary & Indalecio Diaz.A graveside Memorial service will be held in honor of Daniel David Diaz on October 2, 2017 at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake, AZ at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow at the Snowflake Social Hall, 78 West Center St. The service and reception are open to all who can attend and your presence is welcome and appreciated by David's family, in honoring his life.Until we meet again Dad.....
