Robert E. Garrett

Robert “Bob” E. Garrett passed away on August 8, 2017. He was born October 26, 1945 to Ernest and Mary Garrett, in San Bernadino, California, where he was raised and went to school and college. Bob worked around until he discovered his passion for Millwrighting which took him to many states in the U.S. and overseas. Bob married the love of his life, Shirley Lucas, January 26, 1972 and they settled in Show Low, AZ. Bob would travel for work while Shirley held down the home front. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley Garrett; son, Brent Garrett; brother, Bill Garrett; Granddaughter, Breana Garrett; and Great-Granddaughter, Elizabeth Garrett. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Masonic White River Lodge, 741 E. Whipple St., Show Low, AZ.
