Robert Charles "Bob" Miller

October 18, 1937 — August 14, 2017

Robert Charles Miller of Pinetop, Arizona passed away, in the comfort of his home, on August 14, 2017.  Known as Bob to his friends and family, he was born on October 18, 1937 at St. Savior's Hospital in Portage, WI. His loving parents were Robert Carl Miller and Henrietta Frieda (Wedderkop) Miller.Bob was a father, grandfather, brother, husband, a dear friend, and he was great at fulfilling all of those roles.He joined the Army at the age of 18 and served from February 1956 to February 1959. Bob and his wife Esther (Esty) Henderson were married on June 20, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bob was also a dedicated employee; he retired in 1994, after he gave 32 years of service to Salt River Project in Arizona.  After retirement, he and his wife moved to Pinetop where they spent their days skiing in the winter and golfing in the summer.  As a man that touched so many people's hearts and influenced many lives he will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.Bob is survived by: his wife Esther Miller, his sister Doris Allen, his children Robert Miller and Rhonda Baehman, his daughter in-law Gina Miller, his grandchildren: Kaylie Miller, Peyton Miller, Robbie Miller, Lindsay Miller, Jacob Baehman, Andy Baehman, and four great grandchildren.  A celebration of life will be held at a date that is still to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to White Mountain Hospice.
