Aaron Presley Altaha of Canyon Day, Arizona passed away on August 6, 2017 following an accident in Whiteriver, Arizona. He was 29. Aaron was born on August 5, 1988 in Whiteriver to Elvis and Marian (Quintero) Altaha. An avid outdoorsman, Aaron loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed family gatherings and being around his nieces and nephews. He had many friends and relatives. Aaron enjoyed eating and especially enjoyed a good Mexican food dish. He is survived by his parents, Elvis and Marian of Canyon Day; daughter, Ateya Zoey Anderson; sisters, Marissa, Elmaria and Arainna Altaha of Canyon Day; brothers, Darrias Altaha and Darrick Truax of Canyon Day; grandmothers, Serena Altaha of Canyon Day; Caroline Alchesay of Whiteriver, Shirley Burnette of Canyon Day and Ludy Altaha of Cedar Creek, Arizona; grandfathers, McArthur Burnette, Adam Burnette, Sidney Burnette and Leon Quintero of Whiteriver as well as many extended families, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Derrick, Darvin and Elvis Altaha, Jr.; sister; Leesha Altaha and grandmother, Martha Antonio. A two night wake will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the family home, 508 Tumbleweed Lane, Canyon Day. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Canyon Day Assembly of God Church with the burial to follow in the Canyon Day Cemetery.
