Dorothy “Dottie” Ann Cook, longtime resident of Show Low, Arizona passed away July 28, 2017 in Queen Creek, Arizona surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Orvis Clinton Wentling and Rosanna Catherine Wentling. She had 3 brothers, Jack, Joseph and Richard. Dorothy had retired from Summit Healthcare in January 2013 after 24 years at the age of 79. Dorothy was also a Red Hat member where she met numerous people and became friends with them all. She is survived by 5 sons, Michael Frantz of Queen Creek, Arizona, Matthew (Fran) Frantz of Tucson, Arizona, Patrick (Lori) Frantz of Colorado, Dan Cook of Colorado and Frank (Darlene) Cook of Tucson, Arizona; 3 daughters, Vickie (Leo) Johnson of Show Low, Arizona, Cathi (Brad) Bell of Queen Creek, Arizona, Coleen Cook Zinie of Utah; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Victor Frantz; second husband, Harry F. Cook; her parents, 3 brothers, a daughter, Judy Nason and two granddaughters, Tanya Nicole Johnson and Michele Coleen Zinie. A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street, Show Low.
