Carol Ann Hopkins, of Taylor, Arizona peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 24, 2017 at her home in Taylor. She was 68. Carol was born on May 4, 1949 in Batavaia, New York to the late, Charles Henry Treat, Sr. and Bernice Bertha Eichenberger. Carol was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed being a part of a close knit group of friends where every week they would meet for cards. She looked forward to their meetings and the friendships they had. She worked for H&R Block for nearly 13 years in Snowflake. She is survived by her son, Robert Spangler, Jr. of Taylor, Arizona; daughters, Suzanne Kroll (Ron) of Rimrock, Arizona and Michelle Eftang (George) of Castle Rock, Colorado; 8 grandchildren;6 great-grandchildren; brother, Norman Treat (Pat) of Florida and dear friend, Winona Downs of Snowflake. She was preceded in death by her dear husband, US Army Veteran Ronald Hopkins in 2000 as well as 3 brothers and 1 sister. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society specifying Uterine Cancer in Carol’s name.
