Esther P. Kitcheyan

February 7, 1950 — July 9, 2017

Esther P. Kitcheyan, entered into eternal rest on July 9, 2017, in Tucson, AZ, after a battle with cancer. She was born February 7, 1950 in McNary, AZ, where she was reared and attended school. Esther earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Education from Northern Arizona University.  She was employed by Whiteriver Unified School District, first as a teacher’s aide in Whiteriver, and then as a teacher at Seven Mile School.  She devoted 40 years of her life to the instruction of children in the community that she loved. Esther was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakeside, AZ. Surviving Esther are her children; Chadeen Kitcheyan of Tucson, AZ, Chris ‘Dinger’ (Angel) Kitcheyan of Albuquerque, NM, and Jonathan ‘Sam’ Kitcheyan of Whiteriver, AZ; her brothers; Reynaldo Pacheco, Robert Pacheco both of Pinetop-Lakeside, John (Dorean) Pacheco of Whiteriver; Sixteen Grandchildren; Five Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Louie Kline; and parents; Juan and Rosie Pacheco. A wake will be held at her residence, 669 N. Woods Drive in HonDah, AZ on Saturday, July 15th, from 5:00 pm until Sunday, July 16th at 6 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17th at 2:00 pm, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakeside, 4839 Vallery Lane, Lakeside, Arizona. Interment service will immediately follow at the Lakeside Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Owens Livingston Mortuary.
