Barbara Frances (Cahill) Donalson unexpectedly passed away on May 29, 2017 in Show Low, Arizona. She was 57. Barbara was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1959 in Tucson, Arizona. She grew up in Winslow, Arizona until her family moved to Pinetop, Arizona in the 70’s. She graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 1977. She was a life-long resident of Arizona, except for the past 4 years, and was preparing to Retire to her most beloved place on earth, right here in the White Mountains. She loved her family, grandchildren and her animals. Barbara felt a special closeness to all her grandchildren but especially Shayla Donalson of Bigwater, Utah and Jessina Donalson of San Diego, California and to her sister-in-law, Stacey Donalson. She will be missed by all who knew her Kind and Gentle Spirit. She was a longtime member of the Nature Conservancy and to the Audubon Society. She is survived by her husband, Steven Donalson of Sacramento, California; mother, Beverly and Dean Fisher of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; sons, Scott and Rose Donalson of Page, Arizona, David and Niki Donalson of San Diego, California; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Jim and Anne Cahill of Chandler, Arizona; sister, Mary Rose of Alaska; nephews, Jeremy, Nathan (Leslea), Brian of Phoenix, Arizona and Patrick and Kevin Miller of Northern California, Jeff Taylor of Texas and Brandon Taylor of Lincoln, California; special niece, Peyton Taylor of Lincoln, Califorina; sister-in-law, Sandy and Norm Thurbor of Loomis, California; aunts, Gay Faucher and Mary Wetzel of Winslow, Arizona.
