Lloyd William Kriter was born November 21, 1946 in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada to Lloyd Elgin and Eileen Johnson Kriter. Lloyd completed his time here on earth on April 26, 2017 in Snowflake, Arizona.Lloyd moved to Buckeye, Arizona when he was five, attending school there. After high school he served a mission to the Alaskan Canadian Mission. While attending ASU he met and married his sweetheart, Diane. The raised their five children in Snowflake, Arizona.Lloyd enjoyed serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many young men admire him because of the years he served in Scouting. The highlight has been the last twelve years when he was able to serve in the Snowflake Temple.Lloyd is survived by his wife, Diane, and their five children; Jenifer & Robert Allen of Mesa, Lloyd Kriter of Snowflake, Mary and Matt Perkins of Snowflake, Eileen and Rob Paull of Mesa, and John and Jeanette Kriter of Las Vegas. Also seventeen grandchildren; Andrew, Benjamin, Allan, David, Kyle, Brett, Cassandra, Hannah, Jacob, Kyrstin, Katie, Emily, Kara, Robson, Lars, Jack and Derek. He is also survived by two sisters, Susie Butler and Kristen Ahlstrom.Services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Centennial Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9th S. 2nd West, Snowflake, AZ at 11:00 AM with a visitation 1 hour prior. Burial will follow at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery.
