Evelyn Doris Glanville was born in Tucson, Arizona on December 27, 1927 to her mother Helen Ogle and father William Edward Ogle. She had 3 brothers Bill, Jerry and John. All of them went to school in Tucson. In 1946, she married her husband Paul Glanville. As Paul was on the road, she decided to get into western music. She learned to play the guitar and went on radio, TV and toured with the Murphy Groups. Shortly after marriage she had her son Ronald Gene and daughter Loretta Jane. In 1970 Evelyn and Paul purchased land in Show Low where they called home. Evelyn loved her dogs and being outdoors where she planted her flowers, rose bushes and vegetable garden. She was a natural green thumb. She is survived by her granddaughter, LuJuana DeFrance and her husband Matthew DeFrance, residing in Surprise Arizona; great-granddaughter, Natalee DeFrance residing in Surprise, Arizona and grandson, Wayne Jain residing in Globe, Arizona. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Show Low Cemetery in Show Low with a viewing held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street, Show Low.
