Mary Bertha Stewart

Mary "Bertha" Stewart, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at her home in Show Low, Arizona. She was born April 21, 1935 in South Fork, Colorado to N.P. Martinez and Ramona Santistevan Martinez. She was married to Richard D. Stewart for 33 years. She is survived by 2 sons, Vernon Ellerbe (Claudine) of Show Low, Arizona and James (Jimmy) Ellerbe of San Diego, California; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 stepdaughters, Vickie (Rick) Miller of Mesa, Arizona, Peggy Stewart of Colorado and Robin Coleman of Show Low, Arizona; 1 stepson, John Stewart of Oklahoma; sister, Isabel (Sammy) Birdsong of Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Ellerbe; her parents; 2 sisters, Ida Avila and Percy Hauserman; and a brother Gilbert Martinez. In lieu of plants and flowers please make donations to the Humane Society of the White Mountains: P.O. Box 909 Lakeside, AZ 85929. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Apache Junction, Arizona. Arrangements were handled by Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
