Angela Lupe Johnson

Angela Lupe Johnson, of Vernon, Arizona passed away on April 8, 2017 in Show Low, Arizona. She was 67. Angela was born to the late, Raul Compa and Nellie (Urquidez) Jerez on July 27, 1949 in Phoenix, Arizona. Angela grew up in the Phoenix area having graduated in the late 60’s from the Phoenix Union High School. Following her graduation from high school she attended college in Aurora Colorado and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She taught school in Tubac, Arizona just south of Tucson for many years. She loved to travel and lived in many places throughout the United States including Colorado, Washington, Anchorage, Alaska and many others. She had a green thumb and could grow just about anything from flowers to garlic and onions. Angela is survived by her siblings, Ernie H. Jerez (Virginia) of Phoenix, Paul Jerez (Lorena) of Phoenix and Raul Jerez (Imelda) of Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne Johnson in 2015 and her son, Joey Rojas. No services are planned.
