Marcia Belle Peddie passed away at her home in Lakeside, Arizona on March 8, 2017. Marcia was born October 29, 1933 in Bowie, AZ to Ernest Harmon and Euline (Allen) Harmon. She lived her younger years in Bowie where she was a member of the Community Methodist Church and attended Bowie schools. She graduated from high school in 1951 and on May 30, 1951 she married her high school sweetheart, Michael (Mickey) Peddie. She was a loving wife for 66 years. Marcia spent her early married life in Whiteriver, AZ. These were times that she treasured. This is where she raised her two sons and she also worked many years for Whiteriver Trading Company. Marcia and Mickey then retired to Lakeside in 1989. They spent many winters in Kino Bay, Mexico where they had many friends and were founding members of Club Deportivo. Marcia loved her flowers and was always busy planting in the springtime so everything would be bright and beautiful during the summer. She was a caring person who always had a smile and a positive outlook on life, regardless of life’s circumstances. Marcia touched so many lives and she will be deeply missed. Marcia was preceded in death by her son, Gerald (Jerry) Peddie and sister, Thelma Wood. She is survived by her husband, Michael (Mickey) Peddie; son, Michael Peddie (Lori); grandchildren, Michael, Ashley and Colin Peddie and Greg and Matthew Spruce; 5 great grandchildren who dearly love her and Brothers and Sisters, Charles Harmon of San Simon, AZ, Ernestine Crews (Edward) of Show Low, AZ, Dora Atherton of Mesa, AZ, Joe Harmon (Pat) of Tucson, AZ, Gloria Griffin of Tucson, AZ, Robert Chavez of Phoenix, AZ. Also, many nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Marcia.No public services are planned at this time.
