Billy Gene Paschal

Following a brief illness, Billy Gene Paschal, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 17, 2017. Bill was born in Woodbury, Tennessee, and as a child he came to live in Lockney, Texas with his family.In the 1960's he moved to Holbrook, Arizona, where he was employed by Arizona Public Service. Bill volunteered his time and many skills to Holbrook time and time again, including being one of those who worked so hard to give our town the park at the intersection of Hopi Drive and Navajo Blvd. After retirement, he enjoyed investing in real estate, and improved each property he owned. The time he spent with his children and grandchildren were the best times of his life. Bill worshiped at the Holbrook Church of Christ, and enjoyed the fellowship there.Survivors include his son, Billy Fred Paschal and his wife Adicia, their children: Ashely Paschal, Samuel Paschal and Elizabeth Paschal, his daughter Lisa Paschal Schaeffer and her husband Dave and their children: Brianna Kolbe, Allison Evanson, Lauren Schaeffer, Johnny Schaeffer, Haley Schaeffer and Zachary Schaeffer, his daughter Linda Paschal Faulks and her husband Randy and their daughter: Mandy Duplechan, and his son Kim Wayne Paschal and his wife Laura and their son: Michael Wayne Paschal, and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife, Jerrie Paschal, and a brother, Norman Paschal. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wayne Paschal.A viewing will be held at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 409 First Ave. in Holbrook, Arizona on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and the funeral services will be held at the  Holbrook Church of Christ, 335 W. Erie Ave. in Holbrook, Arizona on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Holbrook Cemetery. Owens Livingston Mortuary in Holbrook, Arizona handled the arrangements.
