Philbert Tessay

Philbert “Ringo” Tessay, of Whiteriver, Arizona passed away on March 9, 2017. He was 50. Ringo was born on April 18, 1966 in Whiteriver to Herbert Tessay, Sr. and Annie Alchesay. He grew up in Whiteriver having attended Whiteriver Elementary and Jr. High School. He graduated from Snowflake High School in 1985. He furthered his education and S.I.P.I in Albuquerque, New Mexico having obtained an Associate’s Degree as a Pharmacy Technician. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. He also enjoyed doing yard work and reading the newspaper. He is survived by his mother, Annie Tessay and Romalda Colelay; brothers, Gary and Dean Tessay; sisters, Glenda Pusher, Karen T. Fall, Elmira J. Cosen, Vida Carroll, Glenda Hernandez, Sylvia Tessay and Krista Tessay as well as companion, Sally Gass. A two night wake will begin 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the family home in Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Canyon Day Miracle Church with the interment to follow in the Whiteriver Cemetery.
