6Eugene Curtis Tessay, Jr., age 30, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his home in Whiteriver, Arizona. He was born April 21, 1986 in Whiteriver, Arizona to Eugene Curtis Tessay and Mary Mercy Lee. Eugene was a young man who loved to play instruments and sing; he loved to fish on the lakes, go camping and go for a joy ride to the mountains. He enjoyed going to churches to help out and attend revivals. He cherished his son, Yogene, and loved to spend time with him, his niece, Jayla and a nephew, Shawnjai. He also enjoyed spending time with his sisters and mother, and he loved to travel with them, and to spend time with all of his family.He was a nice, kind and funny person who always had a smile on his face; when you had a bad day he would try to find a way to make you laugh.A two day wake will begin on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the family residence in Seven Mile. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Pentecostal Church in Cibecue, Arizona. Burial will follow at the Open Range Cemetery in Cibeue, Arizona.
