Gary Limppo, age 69, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 2, 2017, in the comfort of his home in Linden, Arizona. Gary is survived by his wife of 46 years, Phyllis A. Limppo; 3 children: Deputy Michael (Annette) Limppo of Linden, Arizona, Jennifer (Clint) Crandell of Shumway, Arizona, Bethany (Daniel) Mousie of Show Low, Arizona; 3 sisters: Sharyn (Harold), Donita (Virgil), Jeri; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Richard and Thelma Arlene (Hoffman) Limppo and by his granddaughter, Elizabeth. Gary was born on March 17, 1947, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He lived in Tucson, Arizona and Southern California with his family. In 1992, Gary relocated to the White Mountains. In 1994, Gary opened M & G Locks, where he served the entire mountain until his illness. The M & G Locks legacy is continued in being owned and operated by his family. A special celebration of his incredible life will begin 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Sequoia Village School, 982 Full House Lane in Show Low, Arizona where Pastor Matt Gaston, from the Burton Baptist Church, will officiate.Memorial contributions, in his name, to the "Gary's Van Fund" at the Burton Baptist Church or to the American Cancer Society's White Mountain Relay for Life Team, "Kathy's Cancer Crusaders" have been suggested by his family.Gary's family is thankful for all of the expressions of sympathy they have received during this difficult season and are especially grateful for all of the prayers offered up on their behalf. The Limppo Family would also like to thank everyone who have participated with the abundant outpouring of love and support from their large community of friends.
