Glenn Earl Stuart

November 30, 1947 — February 23, 2017

Glenn Earl Stuart passed away peacefully at his home on 23 February 2017 after a nearly 2 year battle with cancer.   Glen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was born to Glen W. and Thelma Kendell Stuart on 30 November 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He was raised in Ogden, Utah and attended Davis High School.  He was a missionary in the Southwest Indian Mission from 1967-69.  He loved the Navajo people and had an eternal kinship with them.  On 18 May 1973 he was sealed to his beautiful sweetheart, Joan Knight, in the Ogden, Utah Temple.  They are the parents of five children and they have 9 grandchildren.  He will always be remembered for his faith and testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ.  Also for his humor and wit.  He enjoyed working in his garden, coaching and teaching, hunting and fishing.  His enthusiasm for all types of art and his artistic talents have been shared with everyone he knew.  His art will be cherished and enjoyed for generations. REVISION FOR SERVICES: There will be a private family graveside service on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.  On Thursday, March 2nd, a Memorial Service & Celebration of Life will be held at 5:30 pm at the Pioneer Park Church , 421 N. Main St. in Snowflake, Arizona.  After the service  there will be an opportunity for visiting and sharing of memories and stories of Glenn.
