Pastor Theresa Lee, of Cibecue, Arizona passed away on February 20, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 78. Theresa was born on September 9, 1938 in Cibecue to her parents, Jack Case and Edith Hanna. Theresa had an immense love for her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Her faith in the Lord was something she loved to pass on to others. She was the Pastor for the House of Prayer Church in Cibecue for over 20+ years. She was always taking care of her parishioners and enjoyed the many friends she made from her time spent pastoring. In her early years she enjoyed making cradleboards and quilting. She loved to go acorn and pinion hunting with her family. She was an excellent cook making bread and other wonderful meals for her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time camping and being outdoors. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend she will be missed by all. She is survived by her daughters, Mary, Cecilia and Odelia Lee, Norberta and Noraberta Alchesay; adopted children, Raymond Pablo, Sr., Allen Ellsworth, Ingalls Lee, Buford Lee, Helena Gooday, Deborah Tessay, Anita Declay, Moweisha, Alyssa, Deshawn and Henry Dale; her companion of 51 years, Norbert Alchesay; sisters, Angie Lavender, Ephrasia Cooley, Anna Patterson, Dorthy Roehrig, Frances Pina and Bernatte Ivins; Godchildren, Dorthy Endfield, Lanora Patterson, Mariam Gooday, Matthew Case, Oswin Case, Bathilda Smith, Tashmae Colelay, DeAundre Lavender; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and many more extended family, friends, brothers, sisters in Christ and congregation. A two night wake will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 2, 2017 at her home in Cibecue, 211 E. Hollywood Hills. The home service will be held under the gospel tent at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 4, 2017. Interment will follow in the Red Mountain Cemetery.
