Lucille Mae Haddock

March 29, 1927 — February 7, 2017

Lucille (Lu) Peters Haddock, 89, passed away on February 7, 2017. She was born and raised in North Dakota. After high school she moved to Maryland to be with some of her seven brothers and sisters. There she met the love of her life, William (Bill) Haddock. They moved to Stanfield, Arizona where they raised their 3 children and made lifelong friends. She worked at Stanfield school and later at John Wayne’s Red River Cattle Company. Her later years were spent in Show Low. She enjoyed puzzles, games, dancing, fun with family, and a good Manhattan with the ladies. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill. She is survived by her brother Fred Peters; daughters, Leanna Mendenhall (Gary), Linda Mell and son, Bill Haddock, Jr. (Cindy). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a happy, fun loving person who enjoyed life. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
