Karen Rose Carlson

Karen Rose Carlson, of Show Low, Arizona passed away on January 18, 2017 at the Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low. She was 67. Karen was born the eldest of 7 children on August 4, 1949 in Bangor, Maine to Harlan and Rose (Flagg) Megquier. Karen was an excellent seamstress having sewn dresses and fisherman knit sweaters and crocheted Afghans all for her grandchildren. A loving wife, mother and grandmother she will be deeply missed. She is survived by her loving husband, David of Show Low; daughter, Vivica Rose Carlson (Nicholas Bower) of Pierce, Colorado; son, Erik Walker Carlson (Melissa) of Orlando, Florida; 5 grandchildren and her mother, Rose Megquier of Bangor, Maine. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the White Mountain United Methodist Church, 261 N. 5th Street, Show Low in Karen’s name.
