Carol Ann Heidt

Carol Ann Heidt, age 76 passed away surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in Glendale, Arizona. Carol was born on February 4, 1940 in Illinois to William and Elvira Hodgson. A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Carol loved her family, animals (dogs, cats and birds) and music. She was a very energetic, spirited, and fun loving person who wants to be remembered for her devotion to family and the way she made people laugh. Carol was retired from the City of Peoria. She is survived by her son, Christian (Kelly) Heidt of Show Low; daughter, Cindy (Gil) Chambers (Peoria), son, Steven (Wendy) Heidt (Chandler); reunited in heaven with her daughter, Cheryl Reed; granddaughter, Valerie (Ryan) Nies; granddaughter, Amy (Darren) Smith; granddaughter, Trisha (Wade) Tipton; grandson, Chris (Gloria) Chunn; granddaughter, Nicki Chunn; grandson, Tyrell Heidt; grandson, Alex Heidt as well as eight great grandchildren. The public visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low where the funeral service will begin promptly at 11:00 A.M.  The concluding committal service and interment will immediately follow at the Lakeside Cemetery where she will be laid to rest alongside her daughter, Cheryl.
