Peter Lambert Woudenberg “Pete”, 59, passed away Dec. 3, 2016 in Show Low, AZ. He was born Feb. 4, 1957 in Salem Oregon to Lambert & Adrianna Woudenberg. Pete grew up traveling across the country with his family from Oregon New York to Texas to California to New Jersey, before returning to California to graduate from Clayton Valley High School in 1978. Soon thereafter Pete started what would be a lifelong career as a Master Journeyman Flooring Installer. Pete often wearing his heart on his sleeve, prided himself in a strong sense of hard work instilled in him by his father. In 1990 Pete moved to the White Mountains with his son and continued to advance his knowledge in flooring by adding custom tile to his scope of work. You would be hard pressed to find a neighborhood in the White Mountains that was not touched by his hand for the better. Pete had a lifelong affinity for auto racing of all kinds, downhill skiing, and fishing the river with his friends. Pete is survived by his son, Brandon (Kimberly) Peter Woudenberg, sister, Elaine (Richard) Davis, brother, Edward (Theresa) Woudenberg, girlfriend of 13 years, Shirley Rocha, and 2 grandchildren, Abygail (9) & Alexander (6). A Party to Celebrate the life and inspiring spirit of Pete, Re-Pete, Woody, etc. will be held this Saturday in Pinetop, AZ at El Rancho Restaurant 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The first round and snacks will be on the guest of honor, followed by an after party at Edward and Theresa’s house for those wishing to come.
