James Neil Finney

On November 23, 2016 Neil Finney joined the angels at his home in Gold Canyon. He was the loving husband of Barbra, father to Kathy, Jim and Jake. James Neil Finney was born in 1936 to Jim and Leola Finney in Holbrook, Arizona. He grew up in Show Low and from there  joined the U S Navy, serving three years during the Korean War. Neil graduated from Arizona State University and worked for Atlantic Richfield in Los Angeles for 30 years as manager of their Aviation Fuel division. His responsibilities included traveling world wide to all continents. After retirement Neil was happy to return to his Arizona roots where he and Barbra enjoyed living in Show Low and Gold Canyon. In addition to his wife Barbra and three children, Neil is survived by three sisters, Jo Ann Hatch, Judith and Tonya Harvey, two daughters by marriage, Cynthia and Sally, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Neil was predeceased by sister Jimmie Jean and brother Scott. Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
