Eva Carlene Scholtz

Eva Carlene Scholtz, age 72, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at her home in Show Low, Arizona. She was born December 19, 1943 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to Carl Patty and Ruby White Patty. She married her Sweetheart, Dennis Scholtz, on September 2, 1994. Carlene has resided in Arizona since 1960. She retired from the City of Phoenix as the City Property Inspector and later moved to the White Mountains to be closer to her twin sister Willy Strandquist. Carlene loved to crochet things for children, loved camping and the great out of doors. She will be greatly missed by her friends and loved ones. Her message to us all would be: "Always be kind, caring, considerate and compassionate."She is survived by her husband: Dennis, 3 sons: Gregg Hoormann, Danny Hoormann and Garrett Hoormann, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Willow Strandquist. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Tiffany Hoormann.There currently are no public services scheduled. Arrangements were handled by Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
