Kyle Bannie Kuffer

March 26, 1993 — September 12, 2016

Kyle Bannie Kuffer went home to be with his Father in Heaven Sept. 12, 2016. He was born March 26, 1993, in Salt Lake City, Utah.   He moved with his father to Pinetop when he was 18 months old. His school years were spent at the Blue Ridge Schools where he was on the golf team. He loved racing mountain bikes and won the Tour of the White Mountains in 2010.   Kyle was an Eagle Scout at the age of 16. He worked for Pinetop Lakes Country Club and was able to buy his first car on his own. He worked as a ski instructor at Sunrise Ski resort. He worked on engines as a young boy with his dad. He worked at O’Reilly’s, Future Tire, Liberty Fence, and Empire Cat. He enjoyed working with computers. His latest job was working with White Mountain Computers.    He accomplished many things. He loved the outdoors and spent a majority of his time doing the things he loved there.  Riding his bikes, mud bogging in his jeep, camping, fishing, and hiking. He did everything at 110 percent.   Kyle is survived by his wife Kaitlyn; son Karter  Bannie, parents Rex and Colleen Kuffer; sisters Sheri Scoggin and Dawn Marquez; brother Russell Scoggin; grandmother Karen Kuffer; aunts Keetette Turner, Karvin Kuffer, Arnene Lee,  Anna Hansen, Laura Petersen, Julie Strong and Lelia Demuth; uncles Marlin Smith, Matthew Smith and Tom Smith; 13 nieces and nephews and many cousins.    He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, F. Bannie Kuffer, and Allan Smith.   Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Show Low Downtown Chapel, 300 N. 11th St., with family time at 9 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor, AZ.
