Walter Dale Robinson II

Walter D. Robinson, 70, II died Aug. 13, 2016 at his home in Show Low. He was born Oct. 18, 1945 in Tacoma, Wash. to Walter D. Robinson and Virginia Lamb Robinson. Walter was captain in the Army, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was a helicopter pilot during both  tours of duty, receiving among other medals, four Distinguished Flying Cross medals for his heroism and bravery. He was very proud of his military service and loved his country.He is survived by his wife, Reba; sister Carol Levering; niece Melinda Freeman; and nephew Adam Levering.A special thanks to the staff of Hospice Compassus for their incredible care and support.   There will be a Graveside Service on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arizona Veteran's Memorial Cemetery at Camp Navajo, 14317 Veterans Drive, Bellemont, AZ.
