Floyd Lenard Battenfield

Floyd Lenard Battenfield of Show Low, Arizona passed away on July 12, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was 73. Floyd was born in Wiley, Texas to Lenard Floyd and Lena Maye (Fouse) Battenfield on November 4, 1942.   Floyd loved to work with his hands, whether working in the yard, with his tools or woodworking he was always staying busy. He was a machinist by trade and enjoyed displaying his many finished products.   He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Battenfield of Show Low; sisters, Linda Stone of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Shirley Battenfield of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother, Billy Dean Battenfield; nephews, Tommy and James Larson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, William, Kenny and Jimmy Baker of Dallas, Texas and Jackie Battenfield of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and nieces, Sissy and BJ Battenfield of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.   He was preceded in death by his sisters, Louise Battenfield, Marie Battenfield and a brother, Arthur Battenfield.   The family would like to thank the First Baptist Church of Show Low for their thoughtfulness during a difficult time.
