Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mildred Jane Witt, age 80, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at her home in Clay Springs, Arizona. She was born September 26, 1935 in Grants, New Mexico to Timothy Kizzar and Myrtle Pope Kizzar. Mildred was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having served as a councilor in the Relief Society presidency and as a Visiting Teacher Coordinator, among other callings; she truly believed the gospel of Jesus Christ. She was a good cook, she loved her flower garden and gardening in general with her husband. Mildred also loved the great out of doors, camping with her family and family cookouts. She has been lonely since her husband, Jessie, passed away in January of this year.She is survived by her 2 children: Carol Scott Witt and Karlie Eberly. Grandchildren: Minthie Jo McCormick, Miki Dew Lewis, Marki Lynn Eberly and Mattie June Eberly. Great grandchildren: Ryder Ray Lewis, Riggin Robert Lewis and Charlie Alexander McCormick.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday June 4, 2016 at the Clay Springs Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 515 Highway 260 in Clay Springs, Arizona, where the visitation and viewing will begin 1 hour prior. The concluding service and interment will immediately follow at the Clay Springs Cemetery. The family is grateful for the many expressions of sympathy they have received during this time.Arrangements were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
