Carrie Nadine Reidhead, 85, died Friday, May 27, 2016, at home in Mesa, surrounded by her loving children, of cardiac complications. She was born Sept. 29, 1930 in Linden, Arizona. Nadine leaves behind many fond memories, a life of goodness, an astute love of freedom and tears of sorrow at her passing. She cherished her family and was deeply devoted to her religion. She led a life of faith and loved the flag and the freedoms it stood for. Most of her life was spent in Heber, where she met and married the love of her life, Theo Austin Reidhead and raised seven children there: Julie Sherwood, Lynne Reidhead, April (Rick Blair), Kim Reidhead, Marcus (Denise) Reidhead, Lena Reidhead, Derek (Helena) Reidhead. Nadine was a pioneer and left a legacy of deep and abiding love for God and country. She was a true patriot all of her life and was an example of such. Nadine is survived by seven children and their spouses; 33 grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Reidhead, Lawrence Harris; two sisters, Pearl Adair and June Nichols. She was preceded in death by her husband Theo Austin Reidhead, three brothers, two sisters, three grandchildren, Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. ,Saturday, June 4, at the LDS church building, Highway 260, in Heber.
