Katherine Wagner

Katherine “Katie” Wagner, 88, of Show Low peacefully passed away on May 17, 2016. Katie was born on December 11, 1927 in McCloud, California to Katherine and Elwood Horton. Katie grew up on Josephine Street, Berkley California with her 3 brothers and 4 sisters.In 1947 Katie married Pete Wagner and began a life of moving all over the United States when finally settling in Show Low in early 1980’s.  Show Low became the home she dearly loved. Katie was the rock of our family and steadfastly independent.  We will miss our mother whom we could always turn to for love and support. Katie is survived by one brother, Stewart Horton; her son, Ron Wagner; daughter, Sandy Rogers; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends. Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Wagner; son, Dennis Wagner; daughter, Carol Wagner; her parents, and 6 of her brothers and sisters.  A memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St., Show Low, AZ.
