Kathleen Baird

Kathleen McLaws Baird, 78, returned back to her Heavenly home on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Katie was born July 18, 1937 in Winslow, AZ.  She spent her life in service to those around her.  She served a mission for the LDS Church and served many years as a Temple Worker in Mesa and Snowflake, Arizona.  Her testimony of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints radiated through her service and love for others.  You never heard Katie say a bad word about anybody. She felt great peace at leaving her earthly home and was grateful for the wonderful life she had lived. Katie's family thanks all for their love and prayers in her behalf.Survivors include her husband, Brantley Baird, 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson.Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, May 28th at the LDS Church in Joseph City, with a viewing at 8:30 am.  Interment will follow in the Joseph City Cemetery.
