Hilda Frost, age 94, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at her home in Tempe, Arizona surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 21, 1922 in Show Low, Arizona to William Henry Lewis and Nancy Whipple Lewis. Hilda was a woman who loved her family more than anything. She also loved to do genealogy and to pick up rocks from anywhere; she was still picking up rocks just before her passing. She ran a pre-school in Show Low, Arizona for many years. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having served in many positions and working in the Mesa Temple for many years.Hilda is survived by her husband of 72 years, Larry E. Frost; 6 children: Karen Warner, Diana (Ron) Reed, Susan (James) McMahon, Eric (Laurdes) Frost, Alana (Elwood-deceased) Baylas and Conrad (Elaine) Frost; 28 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Kirk and a grandson Rusty.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Downtown Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building, 300 N. 11th Street in Show Low, Arizona. There will be a viewing held on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona, and 1 hour prior to the funeral on Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at the Show Low Cemetery.
