George Obe Thrasher

George Obe Thrasher, age 94, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at his home in Lakeside, Arizona. He was born March 31, 1922 in Hopedale, Illinois to Obe Thrasher and Minnie Etta Neville Thrasher.George worked in the construction industry building dams in Colorado. He also operated several service stations in Montrose, Colorado. He loved snowmobiles and motorcycles. George was a loving husband and very protective of his wife, Jean.He is survived by his wife Jean of Lakeside, Arizona, a sister-in-law Helen Thrasher of Montrose, Colorado and numerous in-laws and extended family. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Georgean Lou and his brother Wilbur "TY."There are no public services scheduled at this time. Arrangements were handled by Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
