Beverly Jean Adair, 77, passed away on March 16, 2016, at her home in Holbrook, AZ. Funeral services will be held at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~Holbrook Chapel at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 2, 2016. Following the service she will be laid to rest at the Holbrook Cemetery, beside her loving husband Guy. She was born July 29, 1938, in Flagstaff, AZ to Arthur and Lois Austin. Beverly spent most of her life in Holbrook, where she met and married the love of her life, Guy Adair, on June 13, 1953. During their 63 years of marriage, Beverly and Guy raised six children and were foster parents to more than 22 children. She enjoyed playing the piano in her younger years, bowling with her friends, gardening, classic country music, and watching Arizona sports. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She and Guy owned and operated Top 20 Music and The Shoe Box in Holbrook from 1985 to 2014. They also opened the Shoe Box Too in Winslow from 1993 to 2005. Survivors include; her children, Debby (Earl) Kester, Vera Lusk, Lois (Gerald) Hancock, David Adair, Joel (Angie) Adair and Melinda Adair; brother, Dennis (Marjorie) Austin; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guy, who passed away last September; her father, Arthur Austin; mother, Lois Wagner; step-father, Don Wagner and son-in-law, Don Lusk Sr.
