Elaine Elder

June 18, 1922 — March 16, 2016

Elaine Elder, 93, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Snowflake, Arizona, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wyndmere, North Dakota on June 18, 1922.   Elaine enjoyed life. In her younger years she was employed as a secretary in Hollywood for MGM Studios. She also worked for KMPC Radio, owned by Gene Autry.   She loved music and was an accomplished pianist. She began playing at age 5 and played in countless concerts throughout her life. She even served as a volunteer to teach music appreciation to Kindergarten students. She was an excellent accompanist and played for many different churches, most recently at the Valley View Baptist Church in Snowflake.   Elaine loved life and she always had a smile on her face. She loved unconditionally. She enjoyed spending time with her family, of whom she was extremely proud. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.   She is survived by son Ronald ( Hallie) Broce of Evanston, Wyoming and daughter Jenine Bryant of Snowflake, Arizona; grandchildren, Dawn (Daniel) Ybanez, Laura Clarito, Robert (Alisha) Broce, Nancy (John) Helton, Etta (Chad) Emmett, Carl (Aubree) Bryant, Alby (Heather) Bryant, Roy (Meagan) Bryant, Clay (Brandy) Bryant, Kendall (Molli) Bryant, Ren (Sherrida) Bryant, Doug (Caitlyn) Bryant and 40 great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by grandson George Broce.   Funeral Services will begin at 4:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Snowflake Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9th S.  2nd West, where the visitation will begin one hour prior.  Burial will follow at the R.V. “Mike” Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake.
