June 3, 1998 — February 28, 2016

Skye Perez, of Vernon, Apache County, Arizona and Troy Anthony Perez, also of Vernon, tragically passed away together following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on February 28, 2016 in Vernon. Skye was 17 and Troy was 47. Skye was born to her parents, Troy Perez and Karen Carter on June 3, 1998 in Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma. Troy was born to his parents, Arturo “Tito” Perez and Patricia June Lash on October 30, 1968 in San Diego, San Diego County, California. The world is a lot less bright with the loss of our loving daughter, sister and the best father a family could ask for. Skye is survived by her mother, Karen Carter of Show Low, Arizona; brothers, Christopher and Nicholas Perez of Show Low; paternal grandparents, Patricia and Harold Higginbotham of Show Low and Tito Perez of San Diego, California; maternal grandparents, Verne and Millie Gehlen of Show Low as well as an uncle, Michael Dustin Perez of Missouri. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Show Low High School Band in Skye’s name. Troy is survived by his parents, Patricia and Harold Higginbotham of Show Low and Tito Perez of San Diego; sons, Christopher and Nicholas Perez of Show Low; brother, Michael Dustin Perez of Missouri and a granddaughter, Aria Grace Ilo Dot Rowa-Kie Perez of Show Low. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Northern Arizona Ferret Alliance and Rescue, P.O. Box 3763, Show Low, Arizona 85902 in Troy’s name. A celebration of life is set for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Show Low Senior Center, 301 E. McNeil,Show Low.
