Donald Lester Dodge Sr.

Donald L. Dodge Sr. passed peacefully at home February 24, 2016. He was born June 18, 1939 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Lorene and Lester Dodge.Don is survived by his wife of 59 years Patricia Dodge, son Don Jr. and his wife Cathy, son Doug Dodge, granddaughter Breana and her husband Reed Arvin, and two great granddaughters Riley and Neely Arvin.Don and Pat were high school sweethearts and moved to Tucson, Arizona with their two sons in 1969 where together they operated a successful business. Don and Pat moved to the White Mountains in 1979 and again worked together as owners of D & H Realtors for over 20 years until retiring in 2001. Don also served as president of the then named Navajo County Board of Realtors. Don cherished his family and always treated others like he wanted to be treated, whether in business or friendship.Don is preceded in death by his brothers William Dodge and Mark Dodge, his sister Vera Welham, and his grandson Donny Dodge III.Services and internment will be held at Saint Mary of the Angles Catholic Church in Pinetop.In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Make A Wish Foundation..
