Lowell Dean Miller, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona entered the Land of Glory on February 13, 2016 after a courageously fought battle with cancer these past 10 months. He was 66. Lowell was born on February 4, 1950 in Fort Dodge, Webster County, Iowa to his parents, Everett Edwin and Delores Lorraine (Onnen) Miller. Lowell met his High School sweetheart, Rachel Carlson in Iowa before moving to Show Low where they were married on March 19, 1976. Lowell was a man of many talents and interests. A dreamer of sorts, he loved arrowhead hunting and motorcycles. He was a thrill seeker with a humorous personality and a wonderful knack for telling stories. He owned and operated Miller Masonry in the White Mountains for many years. He was also a lover of music and an excellent drummer. Lowell loved the White Mountains and the outdoors. He was a strong and gentle dad to his sons, a loving husband and lifetime support to his wife and a man of God. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Miller of Show Low, Arizona; sons, Carl (Deana) Miller of Show Low, Matthew (Mollie) Miller of Napa, California and Steven (Heather) Miller of Mesa, Arizona; grandchildren, Carson, Mason, Brooklyn, Peyton, Micah, Eleanor and Olive; father, Everett Miller of Glendale, Arizona; brothers, Dennis (Marion) Miller of Sun City, Arizona, Duane (Vicki) Miller of Manson, Iowa, Michael (Debbie) Miller of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Neel (Madonna) Miller of Manson, Iowa; sisters, Charlotte (Sam) Porcelli of Sarasota, Florida, Sharon (Dave) Freed of Manson, Iowa and Janet (John) Elliott of Goshen, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Miller. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Blue Ridge Christian Center, 184 West White Mountain Boulevard, Lakeside, Arizona.
