Beverly Joan Nettles

Beverly Joan Nettles passed away peacefully at her home in Show Low on February 4th 2016.  She was 74. She was surrounded by loved ones. She was born August 24, 1941 to Orville Grover Lewis and Oretta Louise Parks Lewis.  She was the youngest of 4 children.   Beverly grew up in Gary Indiana.  She married John F Thellmann on December 24, 1960. Beverly loved being a homemaker when her children were young.  She was the best cook ever and she kept her home very organized and spotless. She made friends everywhere she went. She is known for being a very hard worker and a little sassy. Beverly took a job with the United States Post Office after her husband passed away in 1984.  She loved her job as a postal carrier for 20 years.  She retired in 2004.    Beverly married Paul Nettles in 1988.   Beverly is survived by her two sisters: Nancy Lewis of Little Rock Arkansas and Barbara Melnick of Mesa Arizona and her 4 children: Roy and Amber Thellmann of Joseph City Arizona,  Rick and Leanne Thellmann of Branson Missouri, Scott and Cheryl Griffith of Phoenix Arizona, and Tim and Joy Thellmann of  Edmond Oklahoma.   Beverly has 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her husband John F Thellmann, Her parents Orville and Oretta Lewis, her brother Harold Lewis, her brother in law Jim Melnick and her husband Paul Nettles.  Burial took place at the Mesa City Cemetery in Mesa, Arizona on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
