Greta Yvonne Dahling

Greta Yvonne Dahling, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on January 29, 2016 at her home in Show Low. She was 80. Greta was born in Superior, Pinal County, Arizona on January 2, 1936 to her parents the late, Ronald Amey Sr., and Martha (Creps) Amey. Greta was very close with her brother the late Ronald Amey Jr. a well-respected clothing designer in New York, and would many times model for his clothing line in many of his fashion shows. She was very fashionable and loved to be able to show off his clothing. She was very loved by all of her children and grandchildren and took on many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to raise. She was a “mother” to all and often times brought the family together. Everyone looked up to Greta and she will be deeply missed by all those who dearly loved her. She is survived by her children, Yvonne Martha Matthews, Patricia Ann Helms, with 4 children and many grandchildren; grandchildren, JJ, Sabrina, Shana, Mitchell and Angel; great-grandchildren, Lee, Roxanne, Winter, Chrystal and Justice; great-great-grandchildren, Julian, Adrian, Marcella, Braxtion and Aiden. A viewing will be held from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street, Show Low with the graveside service to follow at 1:00 P.M. at the Show Low Cemetery.
