Rebecca Sue Greene

Rebecca Sue Green, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona went to be with our Lord on January 31, 2016 in Show Low. She was 59.  The daughter of Carolyn Marvin, Rebecca was born on May 2, 1956 in Ohio. Rebecca was a very loving and caring woman. She met the love of her life when she was 14. They married and had three children. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who centered her life around her family and caring for others. She taught those around her the meaning of strength. She also taught her family the importance of community service. She enjoyed donating her time and giving to others. In 2006 she received the greatest donation of all, the gift of life when she received a new heart from loving strangers. She never took this gift for granted and loved more and more every day. She was met in heaven by her husband, John and son, Rodney. She leaves behind her daughters, Carolyn (Jack) McDonald and Elizabeth (Fred) Mariscal; her grandchildren, James, Ryan, Garrett, Heidi, Amber, Jonica, Haley and Rowdy; her mother, Carolyn Brown; 3 great-grandchildren and 5 sisters and 1 brother.The family encourages all to give the greatest gift of all, donate life and become an organ donor. The family will be holding a private memorial celebration.
