Nyrma Leona Clark McKenna passed away on January 15, 2016 at Hospice of the Valley Thunderbird Patient Care Unit in Glendale, Arizona. Nyrma was born in Brigham City, Utah and the daughter of the late Lynn Osborne Clark and Leona Simper Clark. She grew up in Tremonton, Utah with her three sisters. She married Stanley McKenna in June 12, 1961 and moved to Arizona in 1963. They were married for 37 years before he proceeded her in death. She moved to Snowflake, AZ in 2005, where she became active in her church and community. Nyrma was President of the Silver Creek Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved make quilts, arranging flowers, and making all sorts of crafts. She was a talented singer. In her professional life, she worked for a couple of photography developers as a photo lab technician restoring and touching up photographs. Nyrma is survived by her three sisters, Nelda Bolton and her husband, Garr Bolton, Narlene Freeze, and Lornel Tureson and her husband, Jim Tureson. Also, she is survived by her four children, three step children, 23 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The visitation is at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint Main Street Chapel, 48 N. Main Street, Snowflake, Arizona. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.Interment will be at the National Memorial Veteran’s Cemetery in Cave Creek, Arizona at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
