June Foard

January 29, 1953 — January 15, 2016

June Foard, of Holbrook, Arizona passed away on January 15, 2016 at her home peacefully. She was 62. June was born on January 29th, 1953 in Springfield,  MO to Vern and June Meier. She grew up in Great Falls, MT where she lived until she went to Montana State University in Bozeman, MT in 1971. In 1974 she met the cowboy (Claude Foard) who captured her heart in Jackson Hole, WY and were married on November 6th, 1974. They relocated to Holbrook in November 1976 where they settled and made it their home. June worked with several different companies during her life in Holbrook; NRCD, Holbrook Chamber of Commerce and Navajo County. She loved Holbrook and wanted to see it thrive. She spent many years volunteering for the community and did what she could to see the town flourish. In September 2015, June retired from Navajo County as a Courtroom Administrator. She spent the last 6 months doing what she loved most, spending all of her time with her family. June was the most beautiful, kind hearted, down to earth woman. She lived her life gracefully, classy and with enough feistiness to make her contagious to all. She had outstanding loyalty, love of life and believed in family life, second chances and had no regrets. She was the pillar and rock to her husband, daughter, son and grandkids and will be missed each and every day. She is survived by her husband, Claude Foard; children, Janella Barela (Daniel Barela), J.C. Foard (Lecrecia Foard); grandsons, Ty Foard and T.J. Foard; granddaughters, Jadyn Foard and Yakira Foard; great-grandson, Aiden Foard and mother, June Meier. Memorial Services for June will be held on Thursday, January 21st 2016 at 10:00 am at Owens Mortuary in Holbrook. A gathering of friends and a luncheon will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Elks Lodge in Holbrook, Arizona.
