Robert “Bob” Willis Walker, of Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona passed away suddenly at his home in Lakeside on January 6, 2016. He was 72. Bob was born on March 14, 1943 in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona to his parents the late, Willis and Rayona (Mitchell) Walker. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy Walker (Chris) and Darcy White (Phil) and grandson Travis (17) of Minnesota. He retired from the Southern Pacific railroad in 2002 after a lengthy and successful career as an engineer. Bob was well known for his hunting abilities as well as his carpentry and auto mechanic skills. He also enjoyed sharing his knowledge of guns. Bob loved being outdoors and hearing about his grandson’s wrestling accomplishments. Travis was the apple of Bob’s eye, and he was learning all about scoring and wrestling moves to keep up with Travis. Bob will be missed by his family, and many friends, neighbors and retired railroaders.Memorial service to follow in Tucson in March.
