Donald Eugene Pierce

Don was born on January 23, 1945. He was very proud of that date. He passed away peacefully at his home in Linden on October 6, 2015. Don married his wife, Gayle, in Tucson, Arizona on July 22, 1972. He was a Union Carpenter for 25 years, when they decided to make their move to Show Low, Arizona. After some years, Don and two of his friends started a business together. Rim Country Mechanical, Inc. started in September 1993. He was very proud to be a co-owner and to this day, the business is running successfully. Don loved antiques and auctions. He enjoyed hunting and was a HUGE "U of A" fan! But more than all of those things, family was the most important thing to him. Don is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gayle. He has two daughters, Julie Dawn Lewis (James) and Alyssa Mary Vaeth (Stephen). He is also survived by 4 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 3:00 pm in Show Low, Arizona at the Elks Lodge located at 805 E. Whipple Street, 85901. Arrangements were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation either to Pet Allies in Show Low, Arizona, Wounded Warriors Project or the charity of your choice.
