Terry Paul Shaff

Terry Paul Shaff, of Joseph City, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on September 23, 2015 in Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona. He was 70. Terry was born, 1of 2 children, to his parents the late, Harry and Gladys (Crittenden) Shaff on June 15, 1945 in Schenectady, Schenectady County, New York. Terry and his wife, Carol owned and operated the Endicott Feed and Tack Shop, originally Our Western Shop, in Endicott, New York for 30 years before starting Shaff's Meats in 1988. They ran the meat plant from 1988-2006 when the family purchased the Jack Rabbit Ranch in Joseph City, Arizona. Terry truly enjoyed his semi-retirement taking care of the ranch and cattle. Terry enjoyed boating and the outdoors. A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Shaff of Joseph City, Arizona; children, Valarie (Dan) Turan of Vestal, New York, Terry (Megan) Shaff Jr. of Binghamton, New York, Marci (Joseph) Zabadal of Joseph City, Arizona and Mike (Dara) Vanderpool of Hanover, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Daniel Paul Turan, Tyler (Alyssa) Lewis, Joshua, Justen, Seneca Shaff, Nick, Mitchell, Gracie, Bailey, Javin and Reed Vanderpool; a sister, Nancy McCaslin of Joppatown, Maryland and many extended family members and friends. Terry's family would like to send a special thank you to Tony and Cindy Jaquez. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Holbrook or to a charity of your choice in Terry's name. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~Holbrook Chapel, 409 N. 1st Ave., and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 2, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, 360 N. 1st Ave., Holbrook. Concluding services and entombment will take place in the Holbrook Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the concluding services back at the church.
