Keith Edward Gore, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona passed away at his home on September 23, 2015 in Show Low. He was 80. Keith was born to his parents, Edward Thomas and Naoma Josephine (Keith) Gore on December 21, 1934 in Clovis, Curry County, New Mexico. Keith grew up in Artesia, New Mexico having graduated from Artesia High School in 1953. It was during school that he met his high school sweetheart, Ramona Stevens, and on August 22, 1954 they were married. Keith worked in the oil fields in Artesia before becoming a choir director. He sang in many choirs throughout, Artesia. Keith and Ramona moved to El Paso, Texas where they ran a KOA campground for many years in the 70's. Following their time in Texas they moved to Huntington Beach, California where he began working in a factory building airplane parts. The family then moved to Arizona where Keith was active in the White Mountain Chorale, the High Country Barbershop Choirs and the Quartet. Keith was an avid reader with a great collection of Louis L'Amour and many western novels. He enjoyed western movies and television shows. Keith was a wonderful family man who will be dearly missed by all those whom he loved. He is survived by his son, John (Brenda) Gore of Show Low; daughter, Glenda (Rodney) Lee of Show Low; grandchildren, Mary Beth Gore of Show Low, Heather Roxanne (Ronald) Braxton of Lubbock, Texas; great-granddaughter, Ayana Marie Owens; mother, Josephine Gore of Wickenburg, Arizona; sister, Jo Margaret (John) Ferris of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother, Jerald (Katie) Gore of Wickenburg and a sister-in-law, Mary Gore of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Gore in April of 2015; grandchildren, Rocky Aaron, Julie Renee and Mark Jason Mullenix and a brother, Stanley Gore. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
