Trent Gillespie passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at the age of 44 years. In loving memory of Trenton LaVerl Gillespie Trent was the very loving husband of Kimberlie Gillespie. He has been the love of her life for the past 15 years, he is her soul mate. He was a dedicated husband and loved Kim very much. He told her each day how much he loved her and that she is beautiful. He was always quick to pick flowers for her and surprise her with a scenic drive. Trent was born May 1, 1971 in Show Low, AZ and he left this earth to return to his Heavenly Father on Aug. 15, 2015 He loved and honored his parents, Geneva and Jim Gillespie and enjoyed spending time with them. Trent loved his Gillespie family. He was so proud of his children and loved each and every one of his 5 children. He was supportive of each of them and their desires to improve. He loved teasing their friends and was known to make a joking threat to anybody who might hurt his wife or kids. Trent was a true friend. He valued his friends and always took time to enjoy a cold beer with them. He especially loved his brothers. He had so much adoration for his big bro, James. He looked up to him, admired him and would have followed him anywhere. He loved teasing his little brother, Ryan. Trent knew that they loved him very much. Trent graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 1989 and immediately went to work in construction. He started as a laborer then progressed to equipment operator, foreman and superintendent. Trent and his cousin, Troy co-founded a very successful business together, Western Grade. They started with less than 10 employees and grew the business to over 100 employees. He was project superintendent and would operate equipment when needed. He was the best blade hand' around. He worked closely with his guys and they had great love and respect for him. Together, Troy and Trent touched many lives; the lives of their loved ones, employees and their families. Last year Kim and Trent started a new adventure that led them to Texas and Idaho. He was most comfortable on back roads and taking the scenic route. He really was looking forward to this new adventure with his sweetheart and so looked forward to owning a ranch. Trent worked hard for his family. He loved to have fun, too. He was an avid hunter, deep-sea fisherman, golfer and team roper. He was very generous and was always looking for opportunities to give. The world lost a wonderful man. The lives of his wife, children, brothers and parents will never be the same.
