Harry Robert McGivney, born August 23, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York. Harry went home to Jesus on August 2, 2015. To say that Harry loved the White Mountains just does not cover it. He loved fishing, walking, and camping. He loved the cool nights and the beautiful days. He loved the rain and the snow. He loved spending time outside as much as possible, gardening and watching things grow. He simply couldn't get enough of the beauty that God made and he was so blessed to live in. Harry loved the Lord. His last days were spent in prayer and Bible reading, out on his deck, while watching the hummingbirds and spending time soaking it all in. He was very concerned for the family and friends that do not know the Lord. He spent a lot of time praying for them. Harry had a heart for kids. He was always trying to help out whether it was the kids in his family or the kids in the neighborhood. And he had a heart for the elderly also and tried to help out wherever possible. Simply, Harry was a man with a huge heart. Generous with his time and friendships, he was loyal to those he loved. There is a hole in our lives that will be hard to fill but it helps to know there is someone who is close to the feet of Jesus who is praying for us all.
